Hearing Protection and Noise Cancellation Functions

Hearing Protection Function

The product is equipped with a hearing protection feature to protect your ears from pressurized sound while using earphones or headphones.

The feature is set to off by default and can be manually turned on as follows:

1. Select the Start button [] > [All apps] > [Realtek Audio Console].

2. Connect an earphone or headphone and select the [Headphones] menu.

   

3. Set [Ear Protection] to [On] to activate the hearing protection feature.

   Tip:

   A warning message will be displayed if the volume is high while this feature is on.

   

Noise Cancellation Function

You can use the noise cancellation function for more clear and vivid sound quality when using a microphone or speaker.

[Microphone Noise Cancellation Function]

1. Select the Start button [] > [All apps] > [Realtek Audio Console].

2. Select [Microphone Array] > [Uni-Directional] or [Omni-Directional] and check [AI noise reduction].

   

[Speaker Noise Cancellation Function]

1. Select the Start button [] > [All apps] > [Realtek Audio Console].

2. Set [Speakers] > [Speakers Noise Cancellation (Voice call)] to [On].
